- Heat the water until warm (not hot) to preserve the beneficial properties of the ingredients.
- Add apple cider vinegar to the warm water.
- Mix in cinnamon, ensuring it blends well to prevent clumping.
- Add the grated ginger and stir well.
- Incorporate the berberine powder and mix thoroughly.
- Shake in a jar or stir until everything is well combined.
- If needed, add a squeeze of lemon and a small amount of honey for taste.
- Drink in the morning about 30 minutes before breakfast for best results.
Notes
Cinnamon may not dissolve easily, so pre-mixing with ACV helps.
Fresh ginger is preferred, but dried can be used in a pinch.
Best consumed fresh, as pre-prepared versions lose potency.
If sensitive to acidic drinks, avoid consuming on an empty stomach.
